Historic jewel of the site of la Villette, this former cattle hall built in the nineteenth century was renovated in 2007, 19 000 m² of this historic building are equipped with the latest features.
Relaxation, a place of culture and entertainment: the Parc de la Villette extends from the Porte de la Villette to the Porte de Pantin on 55 hectares, making it the largest urban cultural park in the capital. At the site of the old slaughterhouses and through architectural design of Bernard Tschumi, it appears in 1979 as a bridge between different cultural institutions of the site.
