Recent developments in LEDs have brought about technological breakthroughs in many areas: lighting, display, signing, mobile and built-in applications, medical and industrial equipment.
Current questions regarding LEDs are many and varied: performance development, standardisation, colorimetry...
All these issues will have implications on the development of materials, applications and, therefore, markets. ForumLED's purpose is to offer a state of play of the LED market and application research in order to provide decision-makers with the strategic information required for their development.

Les développements récents des LED entraînent une rupture technologique dans de nombreux domaines : éclairage, affichage, signalétique, applications mobiles et embarquées, équipements médicaux et industriels…
Les questions d’actualité concernant les LED sont nombreuses et variées : évolution des performances, normalisation, colorimétrie… Tous ces thèmes auront des implications sur l’évolution des matériels, des applications et donc des marchés.
ForumLED a pour vocation de faire l’état des lieux objectif du marché des LED, de la recherche aux applications, pour donner aux décideurs les informations stratégiques nécessaires à leur développement.

CELMA is a Federation representing 19 National Manufacturers Associations for Luminaires and Electrotechnical Components for Luminaires which represents some 1000 companies in this area in 13 European countries.
Elc is an international association which represents the leading lamp manufacturers in Europe.
The aims of this association are to promote efficient lighting practice for the benefit of the global environment and to co-operate with legislative bodies in developing European Directives and Regulations fo the the European lamp industry.
CELMA est une Fédération représentant 19 Associations de Fabricants nationaux de Luminaires et de Composants Électrotechniques pour Luminaires; ce qui représente environ 1000 sociétés dans 13 pays européens.
Elc est une association internationale qui représente les principaux fabricants de lampe en Europe.
Les objectifs de cette association sont de promouvoir l'utilisation efficace de l'éclairage pour le bien de l'environnement et de coopérer avec des organismes législatifs afin élaborer des directives et des règlements européens pour l'industrie de lampe européenne.

ForumLED, which the first edition was the last december proved a big hit with exhibitors, conference attendees and visitors alike. Rarely has a new event achieved such a high level of satisfaction (nearly 100%!)
From its first event, ForumLED acquired a very international positioning: 28% of conference attendees and 18% of exhibition visitors came from abroad, mostly from Europe but also America (10% of foreign visitors) and Asia (5% of foreign visitors).

Many thanks to all the exhibitors, speakers, conference attendees and our partners – all contributed to making ForumLED 2009 a great success and we very much hope to welcome them again in 2010.

ForumLED, dont la première édition a vu le jour en décembre dernier, fut un véritable un plébiscite de la part des exposants, des congressistes et des visiteurs. Rarement un tel indice de satisfaction (proche de 100% !) a été atteint sur un nouvel événement.
Dès cette première édition, ForumLED acquiert un positionnement très largement international : 28% des congressistes et 18% des visiteurs de l’exposition sont venus de l’étranger, majoritairement d’Europe mais aussi d’Amérique (10% des visiteurs étrangers) et d’Asie (5% des visiteurs étrangers)
